New specialty shops and restaurants. Shelnutt /Wessinger House serves as a museum dedicated to the history of Bowdon. Copeland Hall, a 500-seat auditorium and gymnasium complex, hosts concert series, sports tournaments, and special events. Bowdon Founder’s Day Celebration the first full weekend of August.
